FRENCH-LANGUAGE MONTESSORI SCHOOL SEES BUREAUCRATIC HURDLES

The bureaucrats are at it again; at least that is what an angry Moncton daycare operator feels. They are thus blamed for the unreasonable delays taking place while the setting up of a French-language Montessori school. The owner of the proposed school that is yet to be established is angrily shouting red-tapism coming in way of the school work from getting finished.

As of now the day care operator already owns and runs an English language Montessori school that is in Moncton. In the mean while the owners had also asked for an application to open up a French language school.

McSorley is unpleasantly surprised at how disappointed she is with the provincial government who are nothing short of demoralizing. It is like they are simply not paying any heed to her calls. This has also affected about thirty parents who are looking at sending their kids to the new and to be set up school.

It is the Department of Social Development that looks after these matters as licensing daycares in the province. On the other hand however, there is spokesperson Mark Barbour on behalf of the department who stated how it usually takes as many as three to six months when it comes to reviewing an operating license. The provincial government does have to consider a lot many things before giving the final go ahead nod to the applicants in such matters.

Then there are also the various departments who are thus consulted. These include the Department of Public Safety, the Department of Health and even the Office of the Fire Marshal. These are asked for their thorough inputs while doing the daycare's review.

In the mean while the frustration continues of parents who were hopeful earlier of sending their children to this French-language program. Then there are the financial issues that the business partners are facing, those involved in building of the new day care facility. They are paying for the rent of the building, at the same time there is simply no revenue coming in. then there is the mega sum of much over hundred thousand dollars that is being put in renovations. The hard ship for these owners simply continues even as the bureaucrats continue to take their own sweet time.
